GEORGETOWN TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – A two-vehicle crash late on Wednesday morning at a Jenison intersection injured both motorists involved.
According to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sergeant Chris Koster, a 73-year-old Hudsonville woman was driving westbound on Port Sheldon Street around 11 AM when her vehicle was hit by a southbound vehicle, driven by an 81-year-old Jenison woman, who apparently went through a red light.
The older woman was taken to Spectrum-Butterworth Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, while the other motorist suffered minor ailments.
Koster added that both drivers were buckled up at the time of the crash, which remains under investigation.
