HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — The League of Women Voters of the Holland Area will participate in National Voter Registration Day, Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2019.
League members will be at the following locations on that day:
- Lemonjello’s in Holland 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Herrick Library main branch 3 p.m.to 6p.m.
- Hamilton Food Club 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The league reminds residents that absentee ballots are currently available at Holland City Hall.
First-time voters are eligible, but must apply for an absentee ballot in person. The LWV is a nonpartisan organization that encourages the informed and active participation of citizens in government. Find us @LWVHolland or lwvholland.org
