HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – It’s going to cost more to live and work in downtown Holland.
If the City Council approves the annual recommendations of the Downtown Development Authority, it will cost property owners more than 36 cents per square foot for parking and 48 cents for snowmelt, but the assessment for the Principal Shopping District will stay the same for Fiscal 2020.
Also during tonight’s business meeting, council members are expected to approve a Governance Framework and Process Manual. This effort in improving how the Tulip City’s leaders guide the community has been about a year in the making, with emphasis on ends, governance process, linkage between Council and the City Manager’s Office, and limitations on the City Manager’s Office.
Tonight’s meeting is in Chambers at City Hall, starting at 7 PM.
