HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) – A Lakeshore flood advisory remains in effect from noon today to 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22, 2019, according to the National Weather Service.
A beach hazards statement remains in effect at the same time.
The winds, south to southwest at15 to 25 mph will waves 3 to 5 feet high, building to 4 to 7 feet tonight and continuing into Sunday.
This creates dangerous conditions for even the most-experienced swimmers. No one should walk on piers, where waves can easily sweep a person into the water, where they may be unable to swim to safety.
