HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — A single-vehicle crash injured a 20-year-old Byron Center man, just after 4:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019.
The crash happened at 20th Avenue, just north of Tyler Street, where police found a 2017 Ford Edge that had hit a very large tree head on, near the southbound lane of 20th Avenue in the curved section of this road.The Byron Center man was the Ford’s sole occupant and went by ambulance to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.He was wearing a seatbelt. The crash caused the airbags to deploy, police said. This does not appear to be caused by intoxicants, according to police, and remains under investigation.
