DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The luck of the ping pong balls was not with the Detroit Pistons Tuesday night.
The Orlando Magic are the big winners at the NBA Draft Lottery. The Magic will be selecting first overall in this year’s draft.
It’s the fourth time Orlando has the number one pick in the draft. The Magic have previously selected Shaquille O’Neal, Chris Webber, and Dwight Howard first overall.
The Oklahoma City Thunder are selecting second and the Houston Rockets are slated to pick third overall.
The Sacramento Kings and Detroit Pistons round out the rest of the top five teams in the draft.
