HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — A 60-year-old Grand Haven man was struck by a car and killed just before 11 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2019. The crash happened near the intersection of Robbins Road and Beechtree Street, according to Ottawa County Sgt. J. Douglas.
The driver of the car, a 52-year-old Grand Haven man, had been eastbound on Robbins Road in a 2010 Audie A4 when the crash happened. He is coorperating with police, Douglas said.
Police at this point don’t believe alcohol, drugs or phone use were factors in the crash which remains under investigation.
