HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — An Ottawa County Circuit Court jury determined that former Port Sheldon Township resident Michael McNeal is guilty of second-degree murder for the July 24, 2018, shooting death of his estranged wife.
He was arrested after shooting her, then shooting himself in the face. Sherrilee Suzzanne McNeal, 53, died at the scene. Their son found her body.
McNeal is scheduled for sentencing on Nov. 25, 2019, according to a Holland Sentinel report.
