HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Grand Rapids Griffins’ officials and players are mourning the loss of one of there own.
In a tweet over the weekend, the team announced, “It is with great sorrow that we report that Griffins video coach Bill LeRoy passed away earlier today in Winnipeg, Manitoba, where the team is preparing to play this weekend. Our prayers are with Bill’s family members and friends.”
Team officials disclosed no cause; funeral arrangements are pending.
