HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — A head-on collision on the Kenowa overpass of I-196 left a Wyoming man with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s authorities.
Police found a 25-year-old Grand Rapids man had been traveling south on the Kenowa overpass to I-196, and lost control of his 2008 Chevrolet pickup truck.
His truck crossed the center line, hitting a north bound 2012 Dodge pickup truck being driven by a 50-year-old Wyoming resident.
The Chevy pickup slammed into the overpass guardrail and and the Dodge followed, pinning the truck next to the overpass guardrail.
Georgetown Township firefighters extricated the Grand Rapids man, who was not injured The Wyoming driver went by Life Ambulance to Spectrum Health Butterworth with non-life threatening injuries, police said.
