HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Holland police and fire investigators are looking into the cause of two early morning fires on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2019.
Firefighters quickly extinguished the first, at 3:27 a.m. at 17 W. 16th St., preventing significant damage.
They were summoned to the second, at 87 E. 18th St. at 07:30 a.m. That fire involved significant damage, and caused a firefighter to suffered a minor injury while at the scene fighting the fire.
Now: Holland police detectives and Holland’s Fire Marshal are investigating both fires as suspicious, and believe they are connected.
