ALLEGAN, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – Allegan County wants to know what its residents think.
A total of 1,700 surveys were mailed out on Friday by the National Research Center, retained by the county and four non-profit organizations to canvass residents about how they view the county and its services. They will be asked for their opinions on matters such as quality of life, local policies, local services, and how those services are used. Results will be used to help county officials and the non-profits in future planning.
The organizations that are partnering with the county on this initiative include the United Way of Allegan County, Community Action of Allegan County, the Allegan Area Educational Services Agency and Allegan County Community Mental Health. The surveys were mailed out based on a representative sample of the county’s population.
Those who wish to voluntarily participate in the poll can go on line through January 10th, with results expected sometime in February.
