HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – An attorney who came to stay in Holland more than 60 years ago has died.
Gordon Cunningham passed away on Saturday at the age of 86. According to his obituary, he spent three decades as Holland’s City Attorney through 1986, help found the Cunningham Dalman PC law firm, assisted in Hope Church acquiring and installing its famed pipe organ, and was among those involved in getting the DeZwaan Windmill from the Netherlands to its current location on Windmill Island.
Visitation is on Thursday evening, with a Friday morning funeral service at Central Wesleyan Church’s chapel. Memorials can be made in Mr. Cunningham’s name to Hospice of Holland or Central Wesleyan Church.
