HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – A mid-winter thaw predicted for the Lakeshore this weekend serves as a good backdrop to what lies ahead this spring and summer in Holland’s 8th Street Marketplace.
The monthly Outdoor Winter Market series resumes tomorrow from 9 AM to 12 Noon. Held on the first and third Saturdays through April, the series spotlights vendors that will have locally-grown produce and other products for sale during the three-hour session.
Unlike the Holland Farmers Market that runs from mid-May through early December, Bridge Cards, Double-Up Food Bucks, Project FRESH, Senior FRESH and Market Bucks will not be accepted at the Winter Market, and patrons are advised to have cash on hand if they wish to buy items from the 10 participating vendors.
More information on the participating vendors and on Holland’s Outdoor Winter Market series is available here.
