HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – As anticipation grows for the long-await arrival of one national restaurant chain on Holland’s North Side, another claims that it will be back.
Corporate officials of Golden Corral in North Carolina won’t give a time frame as to when it’s 11 thousand square-foot eatery off of Felch Street will reopen after it abruptly closed on Tuesday without comment from the franchise owner. Nadine Hassan has not responded to repeated media requests for comment as to what led to her decision to shutter the establishment 13 months after it had opened. In a statement, Golden Corral expressed appreciation for “the many customers who have dined at the restaurant in the past and look forward to serving them again in the near future when we expect the restaurant to re-open under new ownership.”
On February 8th, Chick-fil-a will open its new restaurant off of North Park Drive, at the site of a former Perkins’ Cake and Steak location.
