HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — It appears Holland’s Board of Public Works will meet again tonight to continue discussing a proposed three-year contract with the Utility Workers Union of America.
Board members cleared yesterday’s special meeting agenda of everything except voting on the deal.
Union members must approve the plan before Holland City Council gives it a final OK. That vote had been tentatively set for Wednesday. Both sides of the negotiating table had agreed to extend the current contract during these negotiations.
BPW board members meet at 5 tonight the the utility business offices, 625 Hastings Avenue in Holland.
