HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — With state officials ending a program to supply Flint residents with bottled water, concerned Holland-area residents are restarting a donation program.
Kim Harris is working with Maple Avenue Ministries to collect and deliver bottled water to Flint residents.
She made public Facebook posts saying donations can be dropped off at the church, 427 Maple Ave in Holland from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday
Harris has also coordinated a Grand Rapids-area drop-off at Mayan Buzz Cafe, 208 Grandville Avenue Southwest, in Grand Rapids. Donations can be brought there between 6 a.m. and noon every day.
