HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — After wrapping up two events, the annual Run of the Mill 5k and the unveiling of the new historical marker, Windmill Island Gardens’ development director, Matt Helmus, made the decision to close the island at 2 p.m. Saturday and keep it closed Sunday.
“We’ll reopen Monday morning. We just wanted to make sure, with the weather, people were safe,” Helmus told WHTC.
