ZEELAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Midwest Construction has added four new employees to its staff, bringing to 21 the number of people working at the Zeeland company’s headquarters, 8516 Homestead in Zeeland.
Matt Anisko joined Midwest as a project manager. The Grand Rapids native has more than 15 years’ experience in the construction industry, with work throughout Michigan and 12 other states. At Midwest, he’ll manage projects from pre-construction through completion. Anisko attended Ferris State University.
Jake Czerkies is an estimator. The Holland native is a graduate of Ferris State University, he will specialize in estimating design-build, pre-engineered buildings, general construction and construction management projects. Czerkies was in the heating and cooling industry for over 10 years.
Bill Nielsen is a project superintendent. The Hamilton native has 12 years residential and commercial construction experience. At Midwest, he’ll work onsite with project managers and estimators to ensure project satisfaction from pre-construction through project completion.
Michelle Tanis has a dual role: marketing and human resources services. A Holland native, she graduated from Hope College in 2010 and holds a masters degree from Loyola University of Chicago. She worked for a Grand Rapids non-profit agency as the program expansion coordinator.
