HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — One of the first final figures from this year’s Tulip Time Festival is for MAX Transit’s Park & Ride shuttle wristbands sales — they were a hit, with 1200 sold this season, up from 247 last year, according to MAX Transit documents.
On May 15, the Saugtatuck Douglas shuttle to Holland started and transported three senior riders. MAX Transit officials expect ridership to rise as word spreads about the shuttle, which makes trips at 9 a.m. and 2:45 p.m on Tuesdays.
The MAX Transportation Authority Board is set to meet at 3:30 p.m. today, May 21, 2018, at Padnos Transportation Center, 171 Lincoln Ave.
