HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — The Macatawa Area Express is officially looking for a new executive director.
Long-time executive director Linda LeFebre resigned on April 26 as police investigate possible embezzlement. She has not been charged at this time.
MAX board chairman Russ TeSlaa indicated during a Monday board meeting that public interviews will be held with the search committee but didn’t define a time frame for making the new hire, according to a Holland Sentinel report.
The job ad has not yet been posted.
Currently, executive duties are being shared by operations manager Derek Broadbent and customer service and marketing manager Beth Higgs. Last month, the MAX board gave each a $4-an-hour raise to compensate them for the extra duties.
