HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Disability Network/Lakeshore officials are looking for nominees for the eighth annual ability award.
They’re looking to showcase residents of Allegan or Ottawa counties who promote a spirit of inclusion and a community without barriers. Nominees may be someone who lives with a disability, has a family member with a disability, or is a friend or ally to the disability community.
Nominees should have the following qualities: leadership, advocacy, and empowerment of individuals with disabilities.
All nominees will be honored at an October 29th reception at Holland’s Civic Center in Holland.
The nomination form is online at abilityaward.net The deadline to nominate is July 31.
