HOLLAND (WHTc-AM/FM) Tonight about 6,000 high school football fans are expected to flock to the Bird bowl — the Zeeland East-West game.
While some may be listening to game coverage on 997 and 1450 WHTC, fans in the stands will see the players sporting green and pink socks and the 330 band members wearing black hoodies with the green and pink Be Nice logo. to highlight anti-bullying messages and reduce the risk to people taking their own lives.
Holland High did this last week — football players wearing custom uniforms and band members donning Be nice sweatshirts.
An information table and volunteers at both games are sharing resources.
