HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — The National Weather Service’s Grand Rapids meteorologists have issued a freeze warning, in effect from 10 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2018, through 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, 2018.
Temperatures will fall to 32 degrees or below, although right along the Lake Michigan shoreline, temperatures may stay just above freezing.
This weather may damage to tender vegetation and could create some hazardous driving conditions.
Prepare by protecting outdoor plants as needed. Potted plants normally left outdoors should be covered or brought inside, away from the cold.
Drivers should plan extra time for their morning commute and allow extra space between their vehicles and others’.
