HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Ottawa County Sheriff’s detectives and Grand Valley State University police officers are investigating the report of a sexual assault that happened to a 23-year-old Allendale women. She told police she was accosted while crossing Pierce Street, just west of 48th Avenue, just before 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, 2018.
The assailant ran up behind the woman, “slapped her buttocks,” a police spokeswoman said. The suspect, described as a skinny man wearing gray pants and having a gray hood over his head, then ran into the TRIO Townhomes parking lot and into the central buildings.
