HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — DeGraaf Nature Center Director Rob Venner is retiring after 25 years on the job.
Naturalist Mike Graves has worked for Venner for the last 12 years and said Venner solidified and expanded both the physical space, taking the nature center from a two room space to a muli-faceted exhibit and teaching area, while expanding programming and growing membership.
An open house is set for 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018, at the nature center, 600 Graafschap Rd, Holland.
Light refreshments will be served. Visitors are asked to bring along their favorite nature center stories to share.
