WEST OLIVE, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – The search is on for a 25-year-old Holland area man who has been missing for at least 10 days.
According to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Detective Captain Mark Bennett, family and friends haven’t seen Demetrius Dushun McKnight Jr. since around 5 PM on October 19th. His vehicle was abandoned in a parking lot near the Oak Grove Resort Campground off of Ottawa Beach Road in Park Township four days later, compelling his mother to contact the Sheriff’s Department.
McKnight is described as a 6-1 black male, 170 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes, and sleeve tattoos on both arms.
Bennett said in a statement, “Sheriff’s detectives have checked several different locations and sources, and to this point the whereabouts of Mr. McKnight cannot be determined. Along with the Holland area, Demetrius is known to frequent the Wyoming area.”
