HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Holland resident Tristen Scott Reyes, 31, was taken into custody at an address in the 100 block of East 48th Avenue, in Holland, according to an email from Holland Police Sgt. Matthew Brouwer.
Reyes, a suspect in the Oct. 20, 2018, sexual assualt of a Hope College student, was arrested on Friday, Nov. 2, 2018, without incident, Brouwer noted, and is in Ottawa County Jail.
The assault happened around 2 a.m. on 14th Street near Lincoln, as two female Hope College students were walking back to campus.
Holland police detectives have asked Ottawa County Prosecutors Office for two felony criminal sexual assault charges: assault with intent to commit sexual penetration and fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct.
