Gary Blaukamp, age 75 of Zeeland passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2022.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Barb; his children and grandchildren: Chuck and Karen Blaukamp (Maggie and Maisie), and Cyndie and Paul Morley (Adam and Megan); his sisters: Glenda and Bill Hansen and Gayle and Mike O’Connor; his sisters-in-law: Jane and Richard Michmerhuizen and Mary and Jim Dornbos.
Gary served in the Army National Guard and was called to active duty during the Detroit riots. He worked for several years at Superior Sports Store and then for 20 plus years he drove truck for West Michigan Uniform until his retirement in 2006. Gary enjoyed time up north at his cottage on Wolf Lake, hunting, fishing, shooting trap, and skeet.
Visitation will be 4-7 pm Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at Yntema Funeral Home, 251 South State Street, Zeeland. Memorial contributions may be given to Spectrum Health Hospice. www.yntemafh.com
