1/8 Sunday: 2nd Annual Frigid Fondo at Virtue Cider- This group ride will start and finish at Virtue Farm in Fennville, taking you on some great gravel roads in Allegan County. Once on the course, you can choose to ride the 18 or 30 mile route. Each distance will have a group leader and sweeper, but you should come prepared to self support your ride. 1/9 Monday: Half Off Pizza Mondays At Boatwerks- Every Monday receive 50% off pizzas. Available for both Dine-in, or Carry-out! Special pricing does not apply to the Happy Hour pizzas. 216 Van Raalte Avenue, Holland; 4 p.m. till close every Monday.
1/10 Tuesday: Live Music at Hops- Bring your friends to Hops’ taproom every Tuesday night to enjoy live music from a talented, local musician. 1/11 Wednesday: Hope v. Alma Men’s Basketball at DeVos Fieldhouse- The Flying Dutchmen host the Scots on a Wednesday night. 222 Fairbanks Ave, Holland; 8 PM – 10:30 PM.
1/12 Thursday: Chocolate & Chuckles at Holland First Assembly of God- A fun inspirational night of chocolate desserts and the humor and music of Sue Duffield! A night for all women! Brought to you by the women’s ministry of Holland First AG. 1/13 Friday: Full Moon Snowshoe Hike at Hemlock Crossing- Experience the nip of cold on your nose and the crunch of snow under your feet as you explore parks by the light of the full moon! Afterward, warm up with a hot drink inside by the fire. 8115 West Olive Rd., West Olive; 7p-8:30p.
1/14 Saturday: Hope College: StrikeTime Dance Company at the Knickerbocker Theatre- Hope College dance affiliate StrikeTime Dance Company will present a live dance event for children. All of the works on the program have been inspired by visual-art pieces. Dances presented will include “The Art of Degas,” choreographed by 2010 Hope graduate Alissa Tollefson; “The Harvest,” choreographed by 2001 Hope graduate Amy Bickley; and “Color and Form,” a special video performance of dancers creating in a park. Collaborators for “Color and Form” included Angie Yetzke of the Hope dance faculty, Carrie Morris of the Grand Valley State University dance faculty and StrikeTime dancers. 86 East 8th Street, Holland; 1pm; Tickets are free but must be picked up at the ticket office in the Events and Conferences Office located downtown in the Anderson-Werkman Financial Center (100 E.
