HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office has issued a community alert reminding motorists to use extreme caution today and only travel if necessary.
The Ottawa County Road Commission is currently working in all areas of Ottawa County to improve conditions, but several side streets and neighborhoods are still extremely icy.
The Sheriff’s Office asks that you slow down and move to the side or opposite lane for emergency vehicles as they are policing crashes and slide-offs from Thursday morning’s icy conditions.
We can expect snow showers off and on for the remainder of the day.
