HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – The Ottawa County Board of Commissioners appointed Ms. Kelly Kuiper to the Ottawa County Board filling the vacancy left by the death of Commissioner Dennis Van Dam.
Kuiper was sworn in Tuesday, January 24 and will serve District 6, representing Georgetown Charter Township Precincts 7, 8, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16.
Kuiper worked for Georgetown Township from 2010 to 2013 and served as Caledonia Township Trustee from 2012 to 2016. A graduate from the University of Michigan, Kuiper is a project manager at Nederveld, Inc.
Kuiper says she is honored to be appointed and has some large shoes to fill left by Dennis Van Dam.
