HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – City on a Hill Health Clinic started in 2006 and they provide health care to those who cannot afford it or are underinsured.
With over 55 doctors, nurses and midlevel providers that are all volunteers, the clinic not only offers continued care but a Women’s clinic. On the third Thursday of every month, they provide pap tests, general exams and referrals for free mammograms.
Christine Plummer is a nurse and Health Clinic Director at City on a Hill clinic. She says it’s located in the old Zeeland Hospital building and the space houses over 43 ministries, along with City on a Hill.
The clinic is hosting a Women’s Health Day. Plummer says there will be health screenings for blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol, pap tests, breast exams and free referral for mammograms. The event will also include pampering with massages, nail salon, food and fun.
Women’s Health Day is Thursday, February 16 from 11-7 p.m. at City on a Hill located at 100 South Pine Street, Suite 110 in Zeeland.
