HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Allegan County Prosecutor Roberts Kengis has become a member of Fight Crime: Invest in Kids, Michigan.
The statewide anti-crime group is based in Lansing and is a bi-partisan crime fighting group comprised of over 500 prosecutors, sheriffs, police chiefs and victims of violence across the state.
Their mission is to take a hard-nosed look at what really works and what doesn’t to keep kids from becoming criminals. They then take the information gathered and place it in the hands of policy-makers, the media and the public.
Some of the strategies they use are after-school programs, early care, pre-kindergarten programs, and child abuse and neglect prevention programs.
