HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Hunter Safety classes are available through the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.
The course will offer classroom instruction as well as hands-on training with live fire. Students under 12 years olf must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Students must attend all classes and those who complete the course will receive their Michigan DNR Hunter Safety Certificate. The course is $10.
The first set of classes runs February 14-18th at the Holland Township Fire Station 1 located on Riley Street. Register online or call 616-396-2345.
The second set of classes runs March 14-18 at the Park Township Fire Station at 160th and Perry. Register online or call 616-399-4520. Fee is $10.
Boater Safety classes will get underway starting in May.
