WASHINGTON, DC (WHTC) – Zeeland Congressman Bill Huizenga is hosting a special TeleTownhall Wednesday evening.
The telephone town halls are a way to communicate with thousands of West Michigan constituents, but this special tele-town hall is for the West Michigan residents who have said they want to a face-to-face town hall meeting.
Tuesday the organization MoveOn had members at Huizenga’s Grandville office requesting town hall meetings. The organization says many members of Congress haven’t yet scheduled town hall meetings with constituents for the February congressional recess, which is February 18-26.
Tonight’s telephone town hall from Washington, D.C. is at 7 p.m. and you must register by 12 p.m. today, February 15 in order to participate.
