HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – The three suspects from Thursday’s home invasion and police chase were arraigned in Holland District Court on Friday morning and are currently residing in the Ottawa County Jail without bond.
Jacqualine Jumper, Edward Montelongo, and Sidney Woods Jr. were arrested after fleeing a home invasion in Olive Township. Ottawa County Sheriff Deputies chased the offenders through Georgetown Township, Grandville, and finally caught up with them in Wyoming after they lost control of the vehicle and crashed.
Jumper, a 26 year old homeless woman, was identified as the getaway driver and is being charged with fleeing and eluding a police officer, operating a vehicle while suspended, denied, or revoked and operating under the influence of a controlled substance. Montelongo, a 26-year-old of Park Township, and Woods, a 33-year-old of Holland, are both being charged with being habitual offenders. Montelongo is also being charged with carrying a firearm while committing a felony. All three are carrying a second degree charge of home invasion.
