HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – A presentation on Immigrant Rights is being presented by Lakeshore Ethnic Diversity Alliance in collaboration with the Allie’s Immigration Policy group.
The informative meeting will give you a chance to learn about immigrant rights, whether you’re an immigrant yourself or have family and friends who are.
Several guest speakers will be on hand including Susan Reed who is an immigration lawyer and Secretary of the Steering Committee for the Michigan Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights.
The presentation takes place Monday, February 27, from 10-12 p.m. at St. Francis de Sales Church in the Multipurpose room located at 171 West 13th Street in Holland.
Since 1996, Lakeshore Ethnic Diversity Alliance (LEDA) has worked to dismantle barriers to ensure people of all ethnic backgrounds have equal access and opportunity to participate fully in the life of the community. LEDA has grown from a grassroots start-up to a vibrant collection of proven programs that have served thousands of residents across the region.
