HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Stories and photographs of more then 50 Holland area Latino residents will be on display in an exhibit at Herrick District Library in Holland.
A free reception to kick off the exhibit will be held at Herrick District Library in Holland starting at 6 p.m.Tuesday, February 28 and it’s open to the public.
Nuestra Comunidad Hispana is a collaborative partnership among Latin Americans United for Progress, Herrick District Library, Grand Valley State University’s Kutsche Office of Local History, GVSU Meijer Campus in Holland, City of Holland, and Holland Museum. The exhibit was funded by a grant from the Michigan Humanities Council to LAUP.
Stories and photographs collected through this project will be available permanently in the genealogy section of the library.
