CROCKERY TWP, MI (WHTC) – A Grand Rapids man is in stable condition after running his vehicle off the roadway on I-96.
Deputies were dispatched around 9:20 p.m. to I-96 in Crockery Township Tuesday, February 28. Sgt. Cal Keuning of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office says 31-year-old Oscar Plesco was westbound on I-96 when his vehicle went off the roadway into a ditch and hit a tree.
Plesco was transported to Spectrum Butterworth Hospital for evaluation. Plesco was wearing his seatbelt and the accident remains under investigation.
Responding agencies were the Ottawa County Road Patrol, North Ottawa Hospital EMS and the Crockery Township Fire Department.
