HUDSONVILLE, MI (WHTC) – Just over $173,000 was raised Thursday evening for the Holland Community Health Center.
The Culinary Caberet at the Pinnacle Center had patrons enjoying cuisine from area chefs along with a night of music, chances to win getaways and an auction featuring everything from jewelry to artwork.
All proceeds from the event benefit Holland Community Health Center which serves over 5,000 in the community each year. For 22 years the center has been serving residents who are uninsured with 70% of patients living at or below the federal poverty level.
Not only is Holland Community Health Center ranked among the best family practices in Michigan for adolescent immunization rates but it also received a 5-star rating in patient satisfaction for the past six years.
The Center is a training site for students studying in fields such as Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, Nursing, Social Work, and Pre-Professional Health Care.
