GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WHTC) – Strong winds and severe weather are greeting West Michigan Tuesday morning.
The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids has issued a Wind Advisory for Ottawa County and Allegan County till 3:00 p.m. and a High Wind Watch from 7 a.m. till 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 8 for both counties. Winds could gust up to 55 mph with power outages. The strong winds could make driving difficult.
In addition to the wind, thunderstorms off and on throughout the day Tuesday are possible. Winds could gust at 58 mph or stronger.
WHTC will monitor the radar and have any delays or closings as well as power outages.
