HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Learn how the Native Americans made sugar at Maple Sugar Time at the Van Raalte Farm.
You’ll help tap a tree, gather sap and then see how the nature center’s new evaporator steams away in the sugar bush. Ice Cream will be served in the old barn with your own maple syrup.
Maple Sugar Time at Van Raalte Farm is Saturday March 12 from 11-3 p.m. and Sunday March, 13 from 12-4 p.m. Admission is $1 and you’re asked to park in the 16th Street parking lot and walk up to the Barn to check in.
