HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Resthaven in Holland is expanding and making improvements to overall care services for Seniors in West Michigan with a fundraising campaign.
The campaign called “A Calling, A Promise, A Vision” was initiated by community leaders Bill and Diane Ryckbost and Andy and Lois Mulder. They launched the campaign to endure Resthaven continues to provide the highest quality senior care facilities in Holland as well as provide low-income seniors with living options as they age.
Resthaven has raised $3.25 million so far, about 70% of the $5 million dollar goal and are now reaching out to the community to help. Campaign plans include the construction of two, 12-unit “cottages” for assisted living at Maple Woods, additional living space with the construction of a 10-unit Green House Cottage, new private rooms at the Care Center, and increasing funds for benevolent care assistance.
