LANSING, MI (WHTC) – A Holland man will be among those responsible for governing the three Detroit casinos.
Governor Snyder on Friday appointed Dale Zahn, the CEO of the West Michigan Lakeshore Association of Realtors, to be a Republican Party representative on the Michigan Gaming Control Board. In a statement, Mr. Snyder pointed to Zahn’s “background in real estate will be an asset to this board.”
The five-member panel oversees licensing and regulations for the Greektown, MGM Grand and Motor City casinos. Zahn will replace Michael Watza on the board, and the state Senate must sign off on the four-year appointment through the end of 2020.
