Sun 3/19: Holland Symphony Family Concert, Discovering New Worlds at Zeeland East High School DeWitt Auditorium- The lively, engaging concert and activities include a family friendly program: Bernstein’s “Mambo” from West Side Story, Holst’s “Jupiter” from Planets, Williams Star Wars Theme, Dvorak, Symphony No. 9 final movement, Stravinsky’s “Finale” from Firebird Suite, and Ginastera’s Estancia – Malambo. Sat 3/25: Mysteries and Histories Beneath the Inland Seas at the Knickerbocker Theatre- The annual shipwreck show sponsored by Holland’s own Michigan Shipwreck Research Association brings together some of the leading shipwreck hunters, authors and storytellers with a fascinating night of shipwrecks and mystery! This is the annual fundraiser for MSRA and proceeds fund research, search, discovery and documentation of great lakes shipwrecks. 86 East 8th Street, Holland; 7:00 pm to 9:30pm; $12.50 in advance. $15 at the door.
