HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – There is still plenty to do the rest of Spring Break for those who have stayed behind. The Holland area has plenty to activities to keep the kids busy.
The Holland Community Aquatic Center on 550 Maple Ave. is always a good place to start as they have a 50-meter diving pool, water cannons, a 150 foot-long slide, and a hot tub and fitness room for the adults. Spring break hours are 11-4 through Friday, April 7, and 5-8:30 p.m. with regular hours on the weekend. If you’re feeling a bit adventurous, check out the only climbing gym on the lakeshore, Soaring ledge. It’s located at 76 River Ave. in Holland and boasts a 1000 sq. ft. of climbing surface.
For a more lo-key vacation, head to the Herrick District Library for any of their free Spring Break programs or visit the Critter Barn in Zeeland to pet some baby animals.
