GRAND HAVEN TWP, MI (WHTC) – Two people are listed in good condition after a two-vehicle crash in Grand Haven Township Wednesday afternoon.
Deputies from the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office were called to the scene around 1:41 p.m. after the two vehicles collided at northbound US-31 and Buchanan Street.
Sgt. J. Douglas says 60-year-old Ronald Barwin of Muskegon was attempting to enter the Admiral Gas Station on US-31 when he crossed the northbound lanes attempting to enter the Admiral Gas Station. He did not see Jennifer Zorman’s 2001 Dodge Caravan and pulled out in front of her.
20-year-old Zorman of Holland was transported to North Ottawa Community Hospital where she is listed in good condition. Barwin is also listed in good condition at Hackley Hospital in Muskegon.
Noth drivers were wearing their seatbelts and alcohol was not a factor in the crash. Barwin was cited for failure to yield the right of way.
