HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – The Governement Finace Officers Association of the U.S. and Canada has announced that Holland has received the GOFA’s Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for it’s budget. This award is the highest form of recognition in governmental budgeting.
Tim Vagle, the Finace Director for the City of Holland, says ” Michelle Price, Assitant Finace Director, deservers the most credit.”
In accordance with the guidelines of the award, Holland’s budget demonstrated proficiency in serving as a policy document, a financial plan, an operations guide, and a communication device.
Holland has received this award every year since fiscal year 2003/2004.
