HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – One more parade in the Tulip Time Festival with the Muziekparade.
In the past, you’ve been able to set your blanket and chairs out the Friday night before Saturday’s Muziekparade, but with a new resolution passed by Holland City Council, you’ll have to wait. Council voted 6-2 to pass the resolution that will now require you to place items on the sidewalks and curbs the day of Saturday’s parade starting at 6 a.m.
Tulip Time’s Executive Director Gwen Auwerda contacted the city regarding the change and said for aesthetic and safety reasons are why the change was necessary. The Muziekparade is Saturday, May 13.
